Kim Jones
Kim Jones joined Toshiba in 2008 as a Senior Human Resources Representative. Her career within the company has spanned over a decade, where she recently served as Human Resources Director before accepting her current role as Vice President of Human Resources in October 2021.
Jones oversees and champions all personnel initiatives, including partnering and collaborating with executive management to fulfill Toshiba’s current and long-term human resources and overarching business objectives.
Instrumental in creating the company’s pandemic response, she assisted in the development of successful work-from-home procedures, policies, and training programs. Her additional responsibilities include communicating employee safety requirements, benefits, and other integral pandemic-related information to Toshiba personnel. She also leads Toshiba’s Diversity, Inclusion, and Engagement committee, recently formed in September 2021, which is a strategic initiative for the company.
Prior to her time at Toshiba, Jones was responsible for recruiting and employee relations at Option One Mortgage Company, a subsidiary of H&R Block. Moreover, she oversaw Lending Hands, that company’s charitable giving and volunteer department.
As an active member of the community, Jones also volunteers on the Tech Team at her home church and is actively involved with non-profit community theaters in Southern California.
She holds a combined Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, Los Angeles and the University of California, Santa Cruz.
